Hands-On Date Night: Taste of Thailand

Grab a date, and come explore the exotic and fresh flavors of Thailand in this hands-on class! We'll teach you how to balance the quintessential flavors of Southeast Asia- sweet, sour, salty and spicy- so you can confidently prepare the vibrant and exciting flavors of Thai cuisine. Gluten free menu!
     
Menu: 

• Tom Kha Gai (Spicy Chicken and Coconut Milk Soup)
• Veggie Spring Rolls with Peanut Dipping Sauce
• Shrimp Pad Thai 
• Mango and Lime Jasmine Rice Pudding 

Skills covered in class:

• Getting familiar with Thai ingredients
• Balancing flavors
• Selecting chicken and shrimp
• Working with spices and fresh herbs
• Working with rice paper and rice noodles 
• Steaming jasmine rice 

In this hands-on class, students will be paired in groups of three to five and work together as a team to prepare the recipes.
